The project “Senior Residence an der Partnach” comprises an existing elderly care facility and combines residential living with assisted care for senior citizens. Since January 1, 2023, the facility has been operated by the Bavarian Red Cross (BRK) district association as a public service provider.
As part of this transition, certain areas were repurposed, and a comprehensive fire safety assessment of the existing building was carried out. Based on numerous on-site inspections and close cooperation between the lead architect, the client, and the specialist planners, a fire protection concept was developed that complies with current legal requirements while respecting grandfathered rights for unchanged areas.
